My name is Marsha Lake. I'm an adult educator, humanitarian-aid and community-support worker. I've worked with a wide range of communities and people seeking to rebuild their lives in a wide variety of settings - rural Nova Scotia after the closing of the cod fishery, in Kosovo after the war, in Sri Lanka after the tsunami, and in Ukraine during the 2019 parliamentary election. In these efforts I have worked with the Canadian Red Cross in disaster response, the UN mission in Kosovo, UNHCR, IMC in Sri Lanka and OSCE election observation in Ukraine. I have a Master's degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC, Canada.
